Apache Tears-Stars & Stones- Sept 19th- 25th, 2016 September 19, 2016

Sadly Divine Harmony has not posted yet for the week, so we are moving to Chani Nicholas for our inspiration.

We are going to be working with Apache Tears this week. This is a type of rock seeming to be formed from rhyolite. It appears at first to be black and opaque but when looked at in light it is a dark, transparent obsidian. The name “Apache tear” comes from a legend of the Apache tribe: about 75 Apaches and the US Cavalry fought on a mountain overlooking what is now Superior, Arizona in the 1870s . The tears of the widows when they learned of the outcome turned to stone as they were shed, creating the Apache Tears. They are found in multiple locations in the US and commercially they are traded out of China.

Apache Tears are a wonderful stone for protection and grounding. They provide balancing energies for the emotions. In need of positive change and release of emotional blocks? Carrying one or more of these little guys will help. They can bring a reduction of sorrow and the light of hope to your situations.

This is a week of working through the end of Mercury Retrograde. We are going to be embracing all the lessons learned the last few weeks and getting those emotions back into balance. With the healing energies of the Apache Tears helping us, we will find that balance again.

I am not sure about you, but lots of emotional upheaval and life changes were brought to light this last week. I need all the help that I can get to move my life back under control from the combined effects of the lunar eclipse and Mercury Retrograde. I try very hard to be fluid and follow my soul’s paths. Occasionally, I fight the initial concept and have my 2 year old tantrum. I am now holding tight to my Apache Tears while standing strong in the Universe’s plan for me.

Reading the writings of Chani Nicholas looks like the beginning of the week is going to be integrating the lessons of the past few weeks. While the end of the week puts us into motion finally to make everything from this Mercury Retrograde become positive parts of our life. I am crossing my fingers for myself and you as we enter this new energy.
