Dark Green Chrysoprase

Hello Today! I loved the Sunstone this last week. Really helped put things into perspective for me. I hope you embraced this last week and are ready to delve into this next one. As always, please remember to clean and thank your stone for the wonderful work.

Okay, get ready for it, this week is Chrysoprase. This lovely green stone is a favorite of mine in bed. My husband and I pair it with blue lace agate. We then grid the bed with them- 4 of each- to make it a wonderful calm place to sleep. (I am hoping to have an entry up around Wednesday as to what I mean by GRIDDING.)

Chrysoprase is an apple green colored chalcedony. For those of you new to stones, chalcedony is a micro-crystalline variety of quartz. This makes the basic chemical make up SiO_2, the same as quartz. It receives it’s green color from nickel. Like so many stones, the name is from Greek translating roughly to “gold green”.

Now to the reason you are probably reading this, the metaphysical healing properties.

Chrysoprase to me is a very gentle stone. It brings calming energies to all that surrounds it. The fact that it is green in color means that it works with the lower heart chakra in general health healing. It is great for getting to the crux of the issue for you and supports you in dealing with it in a loving way for all involved. It also steps forward and helps you release all the stress and negativity that is surrounding you. Give it the space to facilitate your letting go of the darkness and bringing you to the warmth!

I think that I mentioned that Chrysoprase surrounds my bed, this is a great stone for help in deep meditation. And yes, I have a habit of meditating either by sitting in the middle of the bed or on a cushion on the floor right next to it. So, I obviously use it all the time in meditation!

There is also the deep connection to nature through this stone that should not be forgotten. If you feel like you have fallen too far away from the rhythms of the Earth, Seasons, and Our Goddess Mother- please drop one of these stones in your pocket or meditate with it and find yourself again!

I should remind you that the Universe presents me with the stone of the week during meditation. Then I write the above little bits. And then I visit Divine Harmony to see what she sees the week ahead as being for us. I hope that you enjoy her as much as I do.

Monday-community, compassion, and evolution- Chrysoprase is a great stone for compassion with its gentleness. Community is part of being on Earth and something that I feel you will connect through with the Earth meditation if you proceed with it. Of course, this all leads to evolution.

Tuesday- learn, travel, and teach, hear our truths, attune to the truth of the matter- Chrysoprase is the stone that gives us truth. According to Judy Hall in Crystal Bible Volume 1 the ancients felt that Chrysoprase promoted the love of truth. You can hear your own and get to the heart of the matter more easily with this stone and the stars in this pattern today.

Wednesday- get serious and focused with thoughts and communication- When getting to the heart of things, which Chrysoprase does, then it gives us the gentleness to work with that truth. You cannot help but get serious with the truth and communicate it in a positive way.

Thursday- focus on standing in your own power- Your power is your truth and Chrysoprase is here is help you be true to yourself.

Friday- shake ups to get you out of your box- While these shake ups happen, they are really just your truth. Remember to look at them as this getting out of your box leads you down your soul path. Chrysoprase is just helping you get to the truth better. Embrace the moments today and know that you are growing.

Saturday- communication and awakening to the truth, wanting you to shake up things, when to hold on and when to let go- Okay, you have been learning all week. Now it is time to show that you have been listening. The truth is all around you. Have you been using Chrysoprase and seeing it. You ready to step out of the box that you have created for yourself? Can you show the world who your soul is? Let Chrysoprase support you fully today as you become YOU!

Sunday- speak truth- After yesterday, you know how to hear your truth. With Chrysoprase in your pocket, you have had the support to do exactly what today is asking of you….. Do it and do it well with Chrysoprase!!!!
