Citrine- Stars & Stones- Jan 16th – 22nd, 2017 January 16, 2017

I love my life. I do live with 2 toddlers who brought the flu home this week, so this is a short little blurb for this week as I am going back to my warm bed!

The stone for this week is Citrine. It is a type of Macro-crystalline quartz. The name is from Latin meaning yellow. Many citrines that you find for sale are heated treated. If it has an orangeness to it… it is an amethyst that has been heat treated. Natural Citrine is a more yellow color. See these great pictures on Mindat showing the difference.

This is a stone of abundance. It is wonderful in your purse or cash register to attract money. It is optimism, enlightenment, boosts self esteem. This is a stone for your Solar Plexus Chakra. Work with the stone this week to see how it manifests its positive energy in your life!
