Quartzsite Trip

Last week was crazy! The whole family came with me to a rock buy for the first time. I did a whirlwind trip down to Quartzsite, Arizona. We jumped in our little SUV and drove 13 hours down to Buckeye, Arizona as that was the closest hotel that could accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 8 years old. Then drove the 1.5 hours to the show and 1.5 hours back two days in a row to drive back home in a snow storm 15 hours. Both the children and Hubby were real troopers. We visited 4 shows in two days.

We met with miners from all over the US. (Of course, all social distancing with our masks on!) Miners that wanted to tell me where to mine the item instead of sell it to me! In the end I convinced them that I would rather support them then go out into the desert myself to find it. Silly miners!
